Osysa has a large, lion-like body, feathered wings, and the face of a female humanoid with a mane of ashy blond hair and glowing sky blue eyes with no pupils. She wears jewelry wrapped around her neck and shoulders.

She is wise and experienced, but also harsh and blunt when dealing with aventurers.

Abilities

The following is drawn from the 2014 Monster Manual, page 282, though very little of it has been demonstrated:

  • Skill proficiencies: Arcana (expertise), History (expertise), Perception, Religion
  • Damage resistances: Bludgeoning/piercing/slashing from nonmagical attacks
  • Damage immunity: Psychic
  • Condition immunities: Charmed, frightened
  • Inscrutable: Immune to effects that would sense her emotions or thoughts, and to any divination spell she refuses. Wisdom (Insight) checks to read her intentions or sincerity are made with disadvantage.
  • Magic Weapons: Her weapon attacks are magical.
  • Spellcasting (using Intelligence)
    • At will: Mage Hand, Minor Illusion, Prestidigitation
    • 1st level (4 slots): Detect Magic, Identify, Shield
    • 2nd level (3 slots): Darkness, Locate Object, Suggestion
    • 3rd level (3 slots): Dispel Magic, Remove Curse, Tongues
    • 4th level (3 slots): Banishment, Greater Invisibility
    • 5th level (1 slot): Legend Lore
  • Actions
    • Claw: Melee weapon attack, deals slashing damage
    • Multiattack: Makes two Claw attacks

In addition, Osysa (whether on Critical Role or in The Legend of Vox Machina) seems to have additional spells and abilities:

  • Scrying via the heartstone
  • A form of silent distant communication, potentially Message (cantrip), Sending (3rd level), or Telepathy (8th level)
  • Spellcasting:
    • 1st level: Silent Image
    • 2nd level: Silence
