After the beginning of the apogee solstice of 843 PD, Quethir traveled to Marquet, visiting Bassuras with three skyships before continuing towards the Red Center. While they were there, the Issylran forces were attacked by local mercenaries, and some lives were lost in the process. Keyleth of the Air Ashari, who was visiting the city with Bells Hells, met with the Dawn Marshal and spoke with him for a bit, learning about his current situation and sharing with him some of the information the adventuring party had shared with her regarding the Ruby Vanguard and their allies, although without mentioning the source.
