Ophera

She is a half-elven woman with white and golden hair that falls past her shoulders, and wears incredible leaf-covered robes, as well as a vine-tangled cloak that, just like her staff, can take root in the ground as if it was alive and seems to be connected to the influence of her goddess.

Description

She is a half-elven woman with white and golden hair that falls past her shoulders, and wears incredible leaf-covered robes, as well as a vine-tangled cloak that, just like her staff, can take root in the ground as if it was alive and seems to be connected to the influence of her goddess.

" The Ominous March " (1x109)

Ophera took part in the meeting of the Dawn Marshals in the Platinum Sanctuary to discuss the ascension of Vecna and the approach of Thar Amphala. When Vox Machina informed the gathered council of the god's ascension, Ophera announced that many clerics across the land had recieved dreams and visions of the event and were aware of it. Vecna projected an image of himself into the meeting and threatened the gathered councillors. The vision was dispelled and Ophera suggested that it was a ploy to distract them. The council decided they must attack immediately and moved several forces of wyvern riders and ground troops to The Abundant Terrace, where Ophera opened a tree portal for them into the Zenwick Mountains so they could meet Vecna before he arrived at Vasselheim.

" Collecting Legends " (3x105)

After the apogee solstice of 843 PD Ophera was present in multiple meetings of the Exandrian Accord held in Vasselheim, to discuss how to deal with Ludinus Da'leth and the Ruby Vanguard. During one of them she expressed her concern after learning of Laudna's ties to necromancy, but the Hollow One defended herself by explaining that all forms of magic were gifts from the gods, and that in order to fight evil, sometimes a bit of darkness was necessary (something that the Coven of the Veil supported).

" Assault on the Malleus Key " (3x113)

Ophera addressed the assembled forces of the Accord in Vasselheim as they prepared to enter the final assault against the Malleus Key, telling them they were fighting for the future of Exandria and were holy warriors in the service of the gods who had acted as their protectors for centuries. As she spoke, she summoned warm wind bringing sweet smells for a few seconds, as the light around her became brighter and more golden. By the end of her speech, several celestial allies were summoned.

" A New Age Begins " (3x121)

At the end of the Era of Reclamation the gods of the main pantheon agreed to use the Rites of Catatheosis to enter a cycle of rebirth and turn into mortals, thus avoiding the hunger of Predathos. After the deities disappeared to be reborn many in Vasselheim were distressed by this, but Ophera, despite her own feelings, remained calm, dealing with Vord's anger towards Bells Hells. Later she also participated in the debate that led to the development of an exchange program between Ruidians and Exandrians.

  • "Today we go to war, not for ourselves, not for our gods, but for the very future of Exandria. Just as this city has never fallen, our faith will never waver, our shields will never crumble, and our spirits will never wane."
