History
Bel-Hissar was given by Naka, a diver for pearls, a great ruby grasped from the hand of a giant mummified king sitting on a jade throne in an undersea city. Despite his Acheronian lords begging him to throw the gem back into the water, considering the gem belonged to the sea-gods, the king kept it. Soon afterwards, he was slain in his very palace by an unnamed thief, who stole the gem, who became known from that day as the Blood of Bel-Hissar.
