King Osric has a part in an ongoing feud with Thulsa Doom and his snake cult, who harass him and his lands, eventually to the point of hypnotizing his daughter, Yasmina, and seducing her to serve at Thulsa Doom's feet. He tasks Conan, along with his traveling companions Subotai and Valeria, to steal back his daughter, and in turn they will be compensated greatly.
