Tulkastor was a follower of the Vala Aulë. He dwelt long with the Teleri in the early days of the Elves on the island. He married an unnamed woman of unknown kindred and their child was Vairë, wife of Lindo, who was the caretaker of the Cottage of Lost Play.
Etymology
In the development of tales, Tulkastor's name was originally Turenbor, and then Tulkassë.
