Powers
Manuals of golems found on other planes could not be used to create the types of golems unique to the realm of Ravenloft. Due to the influence of the Dark Powers, three-fourths of all manuals that were brought into the realm by outsiders were transformed into their Ravenloft equivalents. These books would not revert to their prior state when removed from the realm.
Besides golems, a manual of golems could be used in constructing an anvil of darkness.
