Neverwinter , also known as the City of Skilled Hands and the Jewel of the North , was a bustling, cultured, and cosmopolitan city-state in northwest Faerûn . Neverwinter was regarded by Volo as the most cosmopolitan and civilized city in all of Faerûn . The city was a member in good standing of the Lords' Alliance . Known for its craftsfolk and gardeners, the city's multi-colored-glass lamps, precision water clocks, exquisite jewelry, and magnificent gardens ensured the warm winters were colorful and the summers were rich with fresh fruit.

Bright white alabaster tower, dedicated to Selûne, that rises high into the sky over Neverwinter. In 1479 DR, a group of adventurers seeking the Shards of Selûne raided the Shard of Night, defeating the guards there and allowing Lady Jasmine and other selûnite priests to recover the tower. The Shard of Night was later purified, reconsecrated to Selûne by using the power of the Shards, and became a beacon of hope in Neverwinter. The Neverwintans began to call it the 'Shard of the Moon' afterwards

Moonstone Mask

Quiet inn of comfortable quality famous among sailors, it's also one of the most reknowned festhalls (on the upper floor) in Neverwinter. Most of the staff are beautiful anonymous women with moonstone-adorned half-masks. A bridge between the earthmote and the docks allows visitors to enter and exit the Moonstone. The cellars of the Mask conceal a gate, but the destination reached by this magic still remains a mystery.
