Raven Rock was the ancestral mound of the Black Raven and Gray Wolf tribes of Uthgardt people.

Shining White was the ancestor mound of the Griffon tribe of the Uthgardt .

The Great Worm Cavern was the traditional ancestor mound of the Great Worm Tribe of Uthgardt in the North . It was dedicated to the Great Worm beast totem.

Klauthen Vale was an area of land claimed by Klauth , a red dragon , in the Spine of the World in northwest Faerûn .

Fell Pass was a large rocky east-to-west vale in the Spine of the World where ghosts from an old battle roamed.

Golden Cove was a series of caverns and fjords on the very western tip of the Spine of the World .

It flowed from the glaciers of the Endless Ice Sea and the Spine of the World, after which it was joined by the River Rauvin, and later the Goblintide River, the Laughingflow, and Horn Stream. The River Surbrin then fed into the River Dessarin.

The Lands Against the Wall was a group of foothills located on the southern slopes of the eastern stretch of the Spine of the World.

Mithral Hall (sometimes spelled Mithril Hall ) was a dwarven stronghold beneath Fourthpeak Mountain in the Frost Hills , part of the Spine of the World . It was one of the best known dwarven strongholds in Faerûn .

Settlestone , also known as Dwarvendarrow and The Ruin was a village outside of Mithral Hall . It was first inhabited by dwarves, fell into ruins, then was resettled in 1358 DR by the barbarians of Icewind Dale under the leadership of Berkthgar in alliance with Mithral Hall.

The complex was accessed by crossing over a 40‑foot-wide (12‑meter) causeway with sheer drops to the valley floor below. The causeway led to a domed entrance with six columns carved with likenesses of various giant races. Beyond the entryway there were no doors, but there was a 40‑foot-wide (12‑meter) corridor over 300 feet (91 meters) long which led to a set of stairs to the main temple's massive doors.

The Valley of Khedrun ( pronounced : / k ɑː h ɛ d ˈ r uː n / ka-hed-ROON ) was a valley through which the River Mirar flowed from east to west, joined by the River Khedrun from the north, with the Spine of the World to the north and the Lurkwood to the south. It was filled with tall grass and dandelions . Its eastern edge was about a hundred miles east of Mirabar . It was (falsely) thought by some to be the location of Gauntlgrym .
