Eryndlyn (pronounced: / ɛər ˈ ɪ n d l ɪ n / air-IND-lin) was a drow city of more than sixty thousand in the Upper Underdark.

Blingdenstone (pronounced: /ˈ b l ɪ ŋ d ɛ n s t ɒn ɛ / BLING-den-stone) was a svirfneblin city-state founded in −690 DR by svirfneblin fleeing the phaerimm. In 1371 DR, the city was destroyed and abandoned.

Phalorm (known as the Realm of Three Crowns and later as the Fallen Kingdom) was a kingdom in the North made up of dwarves, elves, gnomes, halflings and humans.

Rrinnoroth was a settlement located within the dwarven realm of Shanatar . It was a ghost town by 1372 DR .

Menzoberranzan ( pronounced : /ˈ m ɛ n z oʊ b ə ˈ r ɑː n z ɑː n / MEN-zoh-buh-RAN-zan ), the City of Spiders , was a large underground drow city-state in the Upper Northdark . Menzoberranzan was possibly the most well known drow city in Faerûn . It was the home of Drizzt Do'Urden , and many of his early adventures dealt with the political intrigue and characters of the city.
