In 1266, the Malatius and Grock Company barge that travelled from Foam to Novigrad along the river stopped at the town, where the "guards" working there told Olsen to look out for Geralt of Rivia. Later, when Geralt worked on the barge, he was confronted by these fake Temerian guards in the bay, who ended up being killed by an aeschna that appeared out of the river.
