Nether Darkness refers to the far south of Arda. In the Second Age, the Númenóreans reached the Nether Darkness by sea.
Nether Darkness refers to the far south of Arda. In the Second Age, the Númenóreans reached the Nether Darkness by sea. It was probably uninhabited and, as the name suggests, apparently unlit by the Sun and Moon.
