Firstwal
The town of Firstwal is the largest settlement in the Qlettaar province of Estwilde and is loosely considered the capital of the Midlands. Residing southwards of Fenalysten's Fen, the walled town was originally built as a Solamnic outpost before the Cataclysm.
The town of Firstwal is the largest settlement in the Qlettaar province of Estwilde and is loosely considered the capital of the Midlands. Residing southwards of Fenalysten's Fen, the walled town was originally built as a Solamnic outpost before the Cataclysm. The outpost was overrun by Hobgoblins and Ogres during the early part of the Age of Despair, who took it for themselves. A human warlord later reclaimed the town and Firstwal became a free entity. It was then settled by human farmers and civilized Goblins, hobgoblins and half-ogres. The rulers of the town impose hefty taxes on the populace, and also exact punishments for the slightest breach of protocol.
During the War of the Lance, Firstwal was used as a way station, to allow the Dragonarmies to move through the area safely, as well as transport their goods.
