Fangoth was originally named Faermish, but after the hobgoblins assisted the Lemish against the Solamnics they were given the budding town of Faermish as payment. The hobgoblins renamed the town to Fangoth, and allowed for humans to live in the city. Elves were arrested on sight, but the city doesn't enjoy the same wealth as the other villages. The streets are dirty, and the rulers are poorer. Sometime after the War of the Lance, the hobgoblins were overthrown from power.
