Ohme
The town of Ohme is the only major settlement in the swampy Qwalmish province of Estwilde, and sits in the northeastern corner of the realm, on the border between Estwilde and Nordmaar.
The town of Ohme is the only major settlement in the swampy Qwalmish province of Estwilde, and sits in the northeastern corner of the realm, on the border between Estwilde and Nordmaar. Merchants of Istar who hoped to use it originally established Ohme prior to the Cataclysm as a port town from which goods could be shipped. Originally Ohme was a thriving city, which was a trade stop between Istar and Solamnia. However the Cataclysm dried up the port around the town, immersing it into swamplands and isolating the residents of Ohme from the rest of the continent.
The citizens of Ohme are known to be isolationist and have almost no contact with those outside of the town, preferring to remain in the quiet solitude of their swamps.
