Mem

Mem or also Mem Citadel is a set of ruins located in the northern central part of the Great Moors in the nation of Nordmaar. It is unknown what it was before the Cataclysm, but there are two theories. The ruins are believed to have once been a Dargonesti city, which was destroyed when the land rose from beneath the waves during the Cataclysm. It is also said to have been an island fortress prior to the Cataclysm.

Mem is now located on an elevated hill with its outer walls still in good repair and four feet thick. The inner walls are all rubble, and only two towers remain standing. The southwest and northwest corner towers. The gate into the fortress is gone, along with all other wooden structures. There is still an intact dungeon underground.

Three Black Dragons have known to make this their lair. The first was Pteros before he was driven away by the second, Talon. Talon was eventually killed by Khisanth in 326 AC, who then claimed the area as her own. After her banishment to Xak Tsaroth, it is unknown what or who inhabits these ruins now.
