Cloven Hills

The Cloven Hills is south of the Window of the Stars and the settlement of Ak-Krol. This small set of rolling hills is located along the coastline of the Khurman Sea, on the edge of the Bay of Balifor. Prior to the coming of Malystryx, the Cloven Hills was known as the residence of a clan of Neidar Dwarves who hailed from the Stonecutter Clan. The local dwarves mined the hills for jewels and other riches, which they traded with the locals of Balifor. During the War of the Lance, the Cloven Hills were raided by the Dragonarmies who attempted to enslave the dwarves. The final death knell came with the coming of Malys, who decimated the Cloven Hills when she turned Balifor into the Desolation. It is said one of the dark queens dragons had set up residence in the mines and is hoarding the treasure.
