Giant's Road

The vast Giant's Road is a large stone highway which stretches from Blöde to Kern, and is carved into the very rock of the Khalkist Mountains. This extensive trade route goes through the Khalkist Mountains and has often proved to be a major boon to the ogres and their dark allies in enabling supplies and goods to be moved easily throughout the ogre nation. The large highway was built by the original High Ogres, and later became home to hill giants. Ogres and hill giants both use the road frequently, maintaining an uneasy truce with each other, so both races can benefit from using the road.

Its creators originally dubbed the Giant's Road the "Pathway of Heaven", as only the blessed ogres were allowed to tread upon it. Minor enchantments were placed on the road to allow travelers to move from one end of the road to the other at extra speed and suffer less strain from traveling so far. In the Age of Mortals, the road has now been dubbed the Titan's Road, in honor of the newly arisen titans at the forefront of the ogre armies in the new age.
