Singing Mountains

To the south of the Seven Spires, in the far southeast corner of the Estwilde region is a small group of peaks known as the Singing Mountains. As the wind carries past the peaks, the mountains sound like they are singing in clear and spellbinding voices.

To the south of the Seven Spires, in the far southeast corner of the Estwilde region is a small group of peaks known as the Singing Mountains. As the wind carries past the peaks, the mountains sound like they are singing in clear and spellbinding voices. Many travelers have fallen to their doom whilst journeying through the peaks, having being mesmerized by the haunting song of the mountains.

Many folk believe that long ago there were three beautiful children of Zeboim, who were banished to the Singing Mountains for disobeying their mother. Because they were children of the goddess, they are unable to age and die like normal mortals and instead have grown old and ugly in the lonely mountain range. Taleweavers purport that their voices have remained as perfect as the day they were born, and that it is the lonely singing of the three children of Zeboim which drifts through the mountains and lures travelers to their deaths.
