Quarth Delving was a marble and quartz mine that was created under the Garnet Mountains by the Kayolin Dwarves. This mine supplied much of the quartz and marble used in constructing the Kayolin capital city of Garnet-Thax.
Quarth Delving was a marble and quartz mine that was created under the Garnet Mountains by the Kayolin Dwarves. This mine supplied much of the quartz and marble used in constructing the Kayolin capital city of Garnet-Thax. It was abandoned around 100 PC after a series of cave-ins. Unknown to the dwarves the cave-ins resulted because miners accidentally located a Horax hive. The Horax killed all the miners and caused a series of cave-ins, after which the dwarves abandoned these mines.
