It is said this site is where the famed Knight of the Sword, Dereg Reynhold, found redemption for him and his sword, Mantooth., after both had been cursed during the battle against the Ghoul Queen.
Following the Chaos War, the Great Lens of Solinari was removed from the Arch of Light, and the fountain seemingly disappeared. In truth, its power had merely faded and it resembled little more than a deep lake in Mohrlexctlan that was covered in algae and weeds.
In 422 AC a party of adventurers journeyed to Mohrlexctlan, where they restored the Great Lens of Solinari to the Arch of Light. On restoring the lens, with the coming of the dawn, light was focussed through the lens onto the lake, restoring it to its former glory as a shrine of Habbakuk. The adventurers then used the fountain to heal the Black Dragon Mohrlex of the Bakalian Plague, restoring the dragon to health, and cleansing him of all corruption, allowing the Chromatic Dragon to serve as a noble ruler of the Great Moors.
