Harkun Bay
Harkun Bay, also called Thunder Bay, is a large bay on the southern coast of Southern Ergoth. It is bordered by the Elderwild Wood to the north, the Plains of Tothen to the west, and the Rocklin Plains to the east.
Harkun Bay, also called Thunder Bay, is a large bay on the southern coast of Southern Ergoth. It is bordered by the Elderwild Wood to the north, the Plains of Tothen to the west, and the Rocklin Plains to the east. To the south the bay opens into the Southern Sirrion Sea.
Harkun Bay was formed by the Cataclysm when a large section of the Elderwild Wood sank into the sea and much of its shores are made up of thin beaches of white sand that quickly turn into forests or jagged cliffs. During the War of the Lance elven refugees sailed into the bay to reach their burgeoning colonies of Silvamori and Qualimori. Upon reaching the shores the elves stripped their ships for wood and other supplies leaving the coastal waters littered with ghost ships.
