The island was located northeast of the much larger Tarikat Island. Azim Island was longer than it was wide, measuring roughly 40 miles (64 kilometers) long and 15 miles (24 kilometers) wide. The entire island was surrounded by coral reefs. There were no settlements on Azim Island as of 1367 DR.
