The Bay of Azuth offered a natural barrier to towns a cities located in southeast Halruaa, protecting them from pirates and harsh weather rolling in from the Great Sea.
The bay was more enclosed than the Bay of Taertal, allowing for calm waters that could be easily fished by locals.
