The lowlands of the Thindol Basin were broken in the middle by the waters of the Thingulph. The basin was surrounded on all sides by mountain ranges including the Hazur Mountains to the northeast, the Guth Mountains to the southeast, the Sanrach Mountains to the weast, and the tip of the Luo Peaks in the northwest.
