Description An everfull cask resembles any large barrel used to store water on board a ship. A cask will automatically fill with five gallons of fresh water once every 24 hours, and does not need to be activated in any way.

A cask will automatically fill with five gallons of fresh water once every 24 hours, and does not need to be activated in any way. If the cask is damaged or if its cover has been lost, the cask will no longer fill with water.
History
Everfull casks were designed to fulfill a multitude of purposes throughout Realmspace. Ships equiped with a cask need never worry about short water supplies or foul water during long voyages. Planetary colonies with water shortages would be supplied by a reliable sources of water. The church of Eldath in Realmspace create the everfull casks and sell them to raise money to finance the establishment of temples throughout civilized space. This money would also allow more of Eldath's clerics to travel into space, allowing her faith to slowly spread throughout wildspace. Her priests have widely proclaimed that Eldath's word will flow across the stars, and the goddess of singing waters will be found everywhere in her water and worship.
Limitation
Because Eldath's worship is still limited to Realmspace her influence does not reach beyond the crystal sphere, meaning that an everfull cask taken outside Realmspace will only produce five gallons of water per week.
