Realm
World Tree cosmology
In the World Tree cosmology of Realmspace, Hanali Celanil resides within her Crystal Palace which is located on the outer planar realm known as Arvandor, which she shares with the rest of the Seldarine, including Corellon Larethian, Aerdrie Faenya, Sehanine Moonbow, Deep Sashelas, Eilistraee, Erevan Ilesere, Fenmarel Mestarine, Shevarash, Labelas Enoreth, Rillifane Rallathil, and Solonor Thelandira. Arvandor, home of the Seldarine and the eladrin, is a vast expanse of pristine wilderness and lush natural beauty, with verdant forests, towering mountains, azure streams, crystal lakes and a deep green sea. Hanali's Crystal Palace lies at the heart of a lake called Evergold. The Crystal Palace is a beautiful structure of perfect design and flawless materials, such that a single candle, properly placed, may illuminate the entire structure. At the heart of the Crystal Palace lies the fountain of youth and beauty known as Evergold. Hanali shares the fountain with Sune, and as such it exists upon two planes simultaneously - here on Arvandor and in Sune's realm in Brightwater. The fountain acts as a portal between the two realms, though usually only Hanali, Sune, Sharess, and their servants have access to it.
Great Wheel cosmology
In the Great Wheel cosmology, Hanali Celanil resides within the Elven Court on Arvandor (also known as Olympus), the first layer of the Olympian Glades of Arborea, Hanali maintains a magnificent crystal palace located in the centre of a great lake fed by the Evergold River. The palace is constructed so well that a single candle, placed properly within its confines, may illuminate the entire crystal structure. At the heart of the crystal palace lies the Fountain of Youth and Beauty known as Evergold, which Hanali shares with other goddesses of glamour, including Sune, Freya, and Aphrodite. Hanali sometime allows mortals access to the fountain, biy only those who have served her for many years and brought glory to her name.
Worship
Hanali's worshippers include elven artisans (particularly sculptors), lovers, performers (particularly bards and dancers), and nobles. She is also widely revered by half-elves born of joyous unions, in honor of the love that brought their parents together. Hanali's priests are flighty and somewhat vain, and are given to wild celebrations and dancing. They preside over marriage and rites of passage for young elves, although they are not required to marry, since Hanali is primarily concerned with love, not marriage. Priests of Hanali spend their days cultivating beauty and love in all its forms; some tend fine gardens while others amass great collections of gems, crystal sculptures, and other fine works of art. Hanali's priests must always be finely dressed; displaying their personal beauty to its best advantage is a requirement of every priest.
