Lumbe is roughly cylindrical in shape, 600 feet (183 meters) long and 75 feet (23 meters) wide, and appears to be made of a metallic substance. The cylinder is an artificial structure, resembling a wizards tower which twirls end-over-end like a baton as it slowly orbits H'Catha. There is no external atmosphere, but the cylinder itself is filled with air. There is a door at each end of the cylinder, both of which open into what appears to be a mage's laboratory. The interior of the cylinder is filled with mysterious objects and constantly lit by a dull blue light, The air is perfumed with a clean, almost flowery scent, which permeates the whole structure.
Inhabitants
This floating laboratory is owned by a renowned sage known as Sarelk, who is a powerful and reputable mage known on many worlds. Sarelk is also the creator of the infamous Batship.
