Retyan was originally from Coliar in Realmspace, but had joined the Seed-Beholder Company in an effort to get away from the interminable fighting between the aarakocra and his people. When the previous owner, a human merchant named Oli Hartburst, unexpectedly died of a heart attack, Retyan was able to purchase a controlling share in the company, naming himself chief executive officer. Under his leadership, the Company had proven to be quite profitable as it provided care for the young of the various beholder nations on H'Catha.
Possessions
Retyan always wore a suit of enchanted plate armour, and possessed an enchanted shield and a vorpal longsword.
