Description

A wakizashi of honor is an enchanted wakizashi, a type of short sword in common use by the nations of Kara-Tur on the planet Toril in Realmspace.

Powers

A wakizashi of honor grants its bearer a +4 enhancement bonus against all mind-altering and mind controlling spells and influences, both magical and natural. For example, the wakizashi will aid its bearer against the confusion attack of an umber hulk, the mind altering effects of alcohol, as well as the effects of a hypnosis spell, etc.

Psionics

A wakizashi of honor cannot aid its bearer against psionic attacks, although it is itself immune to psionic effects.

History

A wakizashi of honor is awarded only to the bravest commanders of the navy and army of the nation of Wa, and each is individually named. In Wa, the sale of this weapon is illegal and is punishable by death.
