Zachariah Silverblade

Overview

Zachariah Silverblade was the leader of a group of nomadic humans living on the geologically unstable islands of the water world Chandos.

Description

Zachariah was a silver-haired old man, and while he remained in his position of leadership due to his personal charisma, he hadn't shown any initiative or true leadership in the past 30 years. Instead of trying to improve conditions for himself or his people, Zachariah preferred living in the past, recounting tall tales about his great deeds in battle, or how many women bore him children.

Personality

Zachariah had been one of the last human warriors on Chandos to wield a metallic sword, until he inadvertently smashed the flat of the blade into an orc warrior's face, snapping it. Distraught at having lost the only thing he believed gave him any worth. Zachariah withdrew into himself and gave up on life. Coupled with his poor sense of judgement and lack of reasoning, the situation has only been exacerbated by his poor leadership skills. Unwilling to face the dwarves or orcs in battle, Zachariah and his people spend most of the time looking for a place to settle while running from other groups.
