Relationships
Friends / Family
Zadfraq was closest to his older half-brother Dairn, while he focussed most of his pranks on the priestess Kalia, whom he considered "too serious... just too serious".
He also had a close personal relationship with his remaining golden lion figurine and together they formed a formidable team in combat..
Crew
Zadfraq served as a crew member onboard the vipership, Tyr's Strike, under the command of the paladin Gehrm. The rest of the crew included his older half-brother Dairn, their companion Thya, and the priestess Kalia, who served as primary helmsman.
History
Zadfraq was originally from the Forest of Tethir on Toril, before joining the Emerald Brotherhood to protect the forest of Thornwood and its druids from an invading tribe of gnolls. The Company went on to achieve great fame as lycanthrope-hunters in the lands east and south of Amn and Tethyr.
They were later hired by a local king in the Vilhon Reach area to hunt down and kill three evil dragons that were thought to be lurking along the Deepwash. However, while they were exploring the Snowflake Mountains, they were captured by illithid slavers and taken into wildspace on their ship, the Mind Ripper.
Having been sold to the neogi, the Company eventually escaped their cruel captors, and would go on to destroy a major neogi slavery operation. The Company subsequently purchased their iconic vipership, Tyr's Strike, from an arcane merchant who had also been held captive by the neogi before being freed by the adventurers.
The Emerald Brotherhood set their sights on destroying both the mind flayers and the neogi, and after some fourteen months, slavers throughout Realmspace had learned to fear them - especially the neogi. The neogi responded by placing a bounty of 50,000 gold pieces on their heads.
