Trivia

  • Once the area is liberated, two named characters will appear here but with no interactions: Edith and Bayor. They're most likely a reference to two minor characters in the Russian novels, Volkodava (English: Wolfhound) series by Maria Semyonova.

Notes

  • While you can kill off the ghouls here, it won't officially liberate the area until you clear out the nearby abandoned site, Calveit Watchtower, as only the watchtower is officially recognized as an abandoned site.
  • If you want to loot the containers outside of the hut (2 of them have random diagrams, but most of the corpses laying around are also lootable, though not glowing with Witcher Senses), it's best to do it before clearing the abandoned site, as the soldiers will attack you for stealing after they return.
  • Orders that were supposed to be found on a soldier's corpse in the area provide some additional backstory, but don't appear during gameplay.
