History Northern Wars In early August 1267, the Nilfgaardian infantry marched on the fortress in Dillingen from the other side of the Yaruga. They crossed the river in a totally unexpected place, building a pontoon bridge which only took them half a day.

In early August 1267, the Nilfgaardian infantry marched on the fortress in Dillingen from the other side of the Yaruga. They crossed the river in a totally unexpected place, building a pontoon bridge which only took them half a day. The city fell under imperial occupation, continued in a series of bloody skirmishes.
