History

he Circle's history dates to before the First Landing and existed in the forest, swamps and bogs outside of what would become Gors Velen acting as the center of worship and society for early humans on the continent. Halflings too may have been part of the circle at this point but most would join once they were driven from their homes by humans forcing them off their native lands.

At some points after the Landing human settlers trying to make a home in the area would meet with the druids and reach an agreement that involved the druids helping the settlers start farms in the swamps so long as the farmers gave sacrifices for an alter and traded with them. The two groups would slowly intermingle more around Bleobheris, becoming a famous neutral meeting ground for people of all races and walks of life.

In early 1267, Dandelion and a young apprentice of his played under there once and told the story of Geralt and Ciri. Radcliffe, Sheldon Skaggs and Donimir were also present at the gathering.

By 1272 the Third Northern War had left the forest mostly untouched with refugees from surrounding kingdoms and destroyed druid circles being taken in by the druids of Bleobheris. Despite the druids possessing the power to cast plagues on those that threaten the circle they have refused to actively fight and intend to foster peace. Defending the forest and the people from bandits and other attackers. It's even said they have used their magic to force those entering the forest with the intention to commit violence to sit down and talk instead.
