  • The river appears in Oko Yrrhedesa, the role-playing tabletop game by Andrzej Sapkowski. While it shares many similarities to the Witcher lore and refers to the characters from the novels a couple of times, its exact connection to the World and the Continent remains unknown.

  • The Yarra River, historically known as the Yarra-Yarra, is a real river in Victoria, Australia. In the native Bunwurrung language, yarro is a word designsting a waterfall that was mistakenly applied to the whole river – originally known as the Birrarung, "ever-flowing" – by European settlers.
