In June 1267, after several Aretuza students escaped to the city, Tissaia de Vries rented a room, joined later by Margarita Laux-Antille, so they could look for them. After finding Ciri instead, they invited the young girl and Yennefer of Vengerberg back to the tavern's bathhouse. After several hours of bathing, the four were interrupted by Rayla, a soldier in Demavend III's Aedirnian Special Forces, who asked for permission to return to Aedirn. Soon after Ciri dressed, Yennefer got news of her leaving via horseback toward Hirundum, so left as well.
