3 days after Beltane in 1245, Yew Trees was attacked by a mysterious being, resulting in 9 workers' deaths. This turned out to be just the first in a string of attacks on local settlements that were originally believed to be the result of a mage getting out of control using goetia. However, it turned out this wasn't the result of an otherworldly demon but Sorel Degerlund, a psychopath mage from Rissberg who merely wished to kill for pleasure.
