Deadsnows was a large village located on the northern edge of the Nether Mountains in the Old Delzoun region of Luruar . It experienced a great boon, with throngs of visitors and travelers thanks to a gold rush, until the 1385 DR when it was destroyed in the Spellplague . By the late 1480s or early 1490s DR , the town was active again, but lacked leadership.
