The Rat Hills was the name given to a stretch of coastline a short distance to the south of Waterdeep , often used as a dump by the city. Owing to the poisonous waters, the infestation of rats, and the various monsters, nearly all save for the daily Dungsweepers' Guild convoy and the guard patrols left the area alone.
