The Rathgaunt Hills were located just east of Lake Lhespen and south of the River Shaar . The Trader's Way passed through the hills near their midpoint near the town of Sebben . The hills ran west to east for approximately 200 miles (320 kilometers) before levelling out near the Landrise .
