The Cargo Gate is a massive, soot-stained complex of granite and iron. It is less of a 'gate' in the traditional sense and more of a heavily fortified industrial loading zone that connects the city's internal markets to the Whackar Wharf. This is the primary intake point for all heavy river-borne commerce. While the Highway Gate handles the wagons, the Cargo Gate handles the barges. It is equipped with massive, enchanted wooden cranes and iron winches capable of lifting entire stone blocks, timber frames, and massive tuns of ale directly from the Selintan rivercraft into the city's warehouse district.
