This is a dedicated academy for the Serious Study of the arcane. Unlike the broad liberal arts approach of Grey College, the University focuses exclusively on the mastery of spellcraft, alchemy, and planar theory. It houses the city's most advanced alchemical laboratories, several 'stable' summoning chambers, and the Great Hall of Scrying, where masters monitor the magical ley lines of the Cairn Hills. The University is a striking architectural marvel, consisting of several towers of shimmering, magically-treated glass and dark marble, all enclosed within a high wall of seamless, reinforced stone. It stands as the primary rival and occasional collaborator to the more traditional School of Magi at Grey College.
