This is the administrative backbone of the Flanaess. It trains the scribes, bookkeepers, tax assessors, and legal copyists who keep the gears of the Free City (and many neighboring kingdoms) turning. The curriculum focuses on Calligraphy, Accounting, Mercantile Law, and Archive Management. It also houses the Hall of Seals, where official wax impressions of every noble house and merchant guild are kept for verification. While the surrounding colleges reach for the heights of high magic or ancient history, the School of Clerkship is a low, sprawling, and meticulously organized complex of grey stone. It lacks the soaring spires of the University, favoring long, window-lined wings designed for maximum natural light.
