The City Depot is a Public Storage and Maintenance Hub. It houses city-owned construction materials—paving stones, heavy timber for bridge repair, and barrels of pitch—as well as confiscated goods held by the City Watch during legal disputes or tax assessments. It serves as the staging ground for municipal work crews and street-cleaners. This is a massive, single-story stone and iron-reinforced warehouse that serves as the primary municipal storage facility for the Old City. It has deep foundations designed to hold immense weight. The exterior is stark, marked only by the Seal of the Directing Oligarchy carved into the lintel above the main entrance.
