The Black Dragon Inn is a three-story, slightly weathered establishment known for its affordable rates and the grinning dragon sign that—thanks to a rival's prank—now drools acid on unsuspecting guests. The inn is run by Miklos Dare, a boisterous, red-bearded veteran of the Battle of Emridy Meadows. Despite his prosthetic leg and a fierce rivalry with the nearby Silver Dragon Inn, Miklos is a bear of a man with a heart of gold, often providing food and shelter to those in need.
