The Hanged Man Inn is a Mid-to-Low Range Inn and Tavern. It serves as a primary hub for Heavy Laborers—dockworkers from the nearby River Quarter, draymen from the City Depot, and various mercenaries-for-hire. It offers crowded communal sleeping rooms, strong Executioner's Ale, and a reputation for being the roughest house in the southern quarter. This is a grim, three-story stone and timber building that leans precariously over the street. The entrance is a pair of thick, iron-studded doors that are rarely fully closed, allowing the smell of stale ale and pipeweed to spill onto the pavement.
