The Common Crypt is a Public Ossuary and Mass Grave. It serves as the final resting place for the city's unclaimed dead—paupers, unidentified travelers, and those too poor to afford a private plot in the Cairn Hills. Bodies are brought here by the Death-Carts to be interred in communal pits or wall-niches. The building is a squat, rectangular block with a single, wide entrance. The exterior is decorated with faded stone carvings of Wee Jas and Nerull, though the shrine has long since been stripped of any valuable ornaments.
