The Guildhall is the primary producer and repository of maps for the Free City. It serves as a professional association for mapmakers, surveyors, and illustrators. Here, one can purchase everything from basic street maps of Greyhawk to highly specialized charts of the Nyr Dyv or speculative layouts of the Cairn Hills. The guild also offers Map Authentication services, using magical and historical cross-referencing to determine if a treasure map is a genuine relic or a tavern forgery. This is a handsome, three-story building of honey-colored sandstone, notable for its large, north-facing windows designed to let in the consistent, natural light required for delicate drafting. A large, gilded weather vane in the shape of a compass rose spins atop its steep roof.
