Little Ket is a 'city within a city', serving as the social heart for those of Ketite descent. It functions as a specialized marketplace for goods specifically from the Paolsen River valley: fine silverwork, intricate carpets, and rare mountain herbs. The neighborhood also houses several small, private prayer halls dedicated to Al'Akbar and other Western deities, as well as communal Coffee Houses where news from the Bramal Pass is exchanged. This is a dense, colorful neighborhood consisting of narrow, interconnected stone buildings with flat roofs and brightly painted wooden balconies. It is the primary residential and commercial district for the city's Ketite population—merchants, scholars, and travelers from the strategic crossroads kingdom between the Baklunish West and the Flanaess.
